Turning the wired custom in-ear monitor industry completely on its ‘ear’, EAR Micro has designed and engineered all aspects of the new Breggz Custom IEC’s (In-Ear Computers). This revolutionary form-factor takes advantage of 3D printing to assure that each custom in-ear takes exactly the shape of its owner’s ear for an absolutely perfect fit, while containing a modularized “pebble” that houses the computer. Voice control, touch control, head-motion control, and (soon) silent mouth-based controls are all programmable and can be linked to interface with other automated equipment through both MIDI, Dante, and IFTTT (EAR Micro Patents).
LOEWE.
The team at Loewe, a 102-year-old high-end German consumer electronics brand (invented the world’s first television!) reached out to the team at EAR Micro for assistance in completely re-thinking the state-of-the-art in high-end headphones. The brand, and its rule-breaking CEO Aslan Khabliev, were deadly serious about the mission: “nothing but the best, in every element, of every single product we bring to market”. With that in mind, we spent 24 months working with Loewe to build a headphone unlike anything the world has ever seen, heard, or experienced. Stunning full 192:24 high-res music playback over integrated DAC, full 96:24 high-res STREAMING over LC3-plus, next fed into Cadence Tensilica Hi-Fi DSP engines and state-of-the-art DAC, next pushed over to selectable class G amplification for high-efficiency mode (providing over 60 hours battery life), or alternatively pushed into selectable high-power/ultra-low-noise/ultra-low-distortion class-AB amplification for PERFORMANCE mode, finally expertly rendered by custom 50mm Biocellulose transducers. Collectively, these are the ‘guts’ of a the typical discrete desk-top high-end and high-fidelity system that audiophiles utilize. Yet we’ve expertly miniaturized all of it to fit completely inside the headphone itself: while simultaneously being lighter weight and thinner than ANY other wireless hi-fi headphone in the world. Stack on top the Bragi OS, instant real-time translation, fully integrated ChatGPT, and an an arms-length list of other novel features and functions and you enjoy nothing less than what CEO Khabliev had articulated: THE BEST OF EVERYTHING.
